Shyrky-o

I don't know how to spell that.

Game done for the Brackeys GameJam. The theme: Rewind. In the game there are these rewind boxes that you can collide with to rebuild the last broken quadrant.

It was my first time ever doing pixel art, therefore I decided on a 8-bit 4-color palette to make it simple. It is not exactly incredible.

I made a devlog video:

Controls

  • WASD (or arrow keys) to move.
  • Click to teleport to a quadrant. It maintains the relative position (and physic process) with respect to the previous quadrant.
  • Press space bar (or enter) to restart.

huh, I thought this game was super interesting. I played for like 15 minutes to get a good highscore. My score was like 60, but idk if that's any good. I definitely thought that your idea was awesome. Teleporting to other quadrants, but keeping your own position, that's super interesting. I found myself planning ahead and jumping up to positions before i teleported and other fun things like that. I would say that the game would have been better if you added some juice to it, right now, defusing bombs feels very ehhh. I like your game though, its hard but fun, but it could definitely use a lot more polish.

Thank you so much! I want to polish it a bit with some mechanics and more juice after the game jam finishes. I will post some "Release announcement" when I have it ready.
